Welcome to Frugal Fergal: the site dedicated to providing tips and tricks on saving money and stretching those few precious Pounds that you do have.
As this site grows, I hope to provide a wealth of information on how to be prudent and organised with your money and help you live as far above the breadline as possible without actually sacrificing anything you NEED.
Now it's important I say "NEED". In order for my Frugal tips to be effective, you need to realise the difference between NEED and WANT. Unfortunately the credit boom has blurred this difference in most households. You do NOT need a 42" plasma TV, but you DO need food on the table and a roof over your head. You do NOT need the latest iPod or laptop to keep you entertained on your way to work or school, however you DO need to actually get to work or school.
Hopefully as time goes on you'll grow to become a well organised saver and prudent spender with a little bit extra for something special once in a while.
