UK interest rates slashed to 3%

Good news for all tracker mortgage holders: you're about to save a packet on your mortgage thanks to the 1.5% rate cut the Bank of England announced this morning.

Sadly, it's not good news for savers and I can guarantee the banks will be dropping these rates much quicker than they will drop their mortgage rates.Continue Reading »

If you're heading over to the United States for your holidays, be sure to pop into Safeways and pick up a Club Card: you'll start making savings instantly.

Whilst shopping, you'll actually be able to see which products you'll save money on as these products show both the normal and club card prices, and some of these can be huge savings on popular brands like Ben & Jerrys, Coca-Cola, Lays (crisps) and even some alcohol.Continue Reading »

Next time you're in the supermarket take a stroll down the men's toiletries isle and see what I mean. Now take a look at the prices. The latest and greatest offering from Gillette: the Fusion Stealth Power. A pack of cartridges (you can't call them blades as each "blade" has 5 blades) costs £9.96 for 4 cartridges. That's £2.49 each.…Continue Reading »
