If you're heading over to the United States for your holidays, be sure to pop into Safeways and pick up a Club Card: you'll start making savings instantly.
Unlike the Tesco Club or the Nectar rewards cards which only offer you discounts via vouchers or points, the Safeway Club card entitles you to "Club card" prices at the till. Whilst shopping, you'll actually be able to see which products you'll save money on as these products show both the normal and club card prices, and some of these can be huge savings on popular brands like Ben & Jerrys, Coca-Cola, Lays (crisps) and even some alcohol.
On a 2 week self-catering holiday you can easily save $200 - $300 on your groceries.
Oh, and don't worry about filling in the form, this is only needed for collecting the points, which you're not going to need anyway.
